CALVADOS POMME PRISONNIERE IN WOODEN BOX 100CL

The fi rst "Pomme Prisonnière" was marketed by Christian Drouin in 1981. By chance, just a few miles from the distillery, he had came across a fruit grower, Didier Alleaume, whose family had kept alive through four generations the tradition of imprisoning pears in carafes for the pleasure of a few privileged people. At once, Christian Drouin was attracted by the idea of associating apples with Calvados. Together they took up the adventure of "Pomme Prisonnière" which has been so successful that the trade mark "Pomme Prisonnière" is now often mistaken for a generic name.
