These bottles have a very limited production every year. From the Hepp Distillerie in Uberach, France, comes a Poire Williams eau de vie. If your French is a little rusty, that means it's made with the Williams pear. After harvesting in August the fruit is fermented for six months, and then goes through a double distillation. Drinking this is akin biting into a fresh pear, but at 42% ABV. And also the pear is now a liquid Sweet, ripe pears, supported by a delicate floral bouquet and a warming note of sweet baking spice, with a very subtle hint of bitterness.
